Joel Frame, Lead Pastor

Joel and his wife Tracy moved to Nashville in 2014 with a desire to reach those who are often overlooked or marginalized in society. As a result, Joel founded The Battleground Urban Arts Center to reach at-risk teens through the medium of hip-hop. Joel now serves as the lead pastor at Hope Church, and loves pastoring the people of Hope Church and being a part of a community committed to seeing Nashville become more like heaven. Joel also is passionate about theology, recovery and, of course, his five daughters.

Cameo Godinho, Children’s Pastor

Cameo and her husband Joey are originally from California and moved to Nashville with their four children in 2020. Cameo has served In many different roles Including being the founder and CEO of Nurturing Hope for the Nations--a Kenyan-based non-profit which exists to empower the youth of Kenya with education, nutrition, and the gospel, that they might live abundant lives to the glory of God and for the good of their nation and the world. Cameo is passionate about foster care, spiritual formation, and California burritos.

Adam Hicks, Connections Pastor

Adam is originally from Kentucky and has served in church ministry in the areas of student ministry, missions, and small group discipleship. Adam met his wonderful wife Kaitlin while in college and they were married in 2017. He has completed a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Pastoral Ministries and a master’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies at Western Seminary in Portland, OR. Adam is passionate about seeing the church love the Scripture, practice the way of Jesus, and serve as representatives of the Kingdom in their homes, workplaces, and communities. In his free time he enjoys playing disc golf or basketball, reading a new book, and cheering for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Zach Bevill, Elder

Zach, his wife Marna Jane, and their two kids have been a part of Hope since 2019. Zach has lived in Nashville for twenty-plus years, working in the music industry for many of those years. Currently, he serves as the Director of Communications at Siloam Health, a nonprofit providing health care for the underserved. Zach also serves as the chair of our elder team. He is passionate about practicing the presence of God, loving his family well, and all things baseball.

Wendy Jans, Elder

Wendy and her husband Eric have lived in East Nashville for over twenty years. Wendy is a singer and songwriter who serves on the worship team at Hope, and she also sets scripture to music and teaches those original songs to our Hope Kids. Wendy homeschools her two kids who have inherited their mom’s creativity and love for art. Wendy has a deep faith rooted in God’s love and enjoys soaking in God's creation on hikes with her family, reading, creating stuff, and watching funny goat videos.

Joey Godinho, Elder

Joey, his wife Cameo, and their four kids moved to Nashville from California (by way of Florida) several years ago. Joey is the Director of Restoration at People Loving Nashville where he works with people who are unhoused and helps provide pathways to healing and stability. This includes the founding of Paradeisos Coffee Company which provides employment opportunities for those with few other options. Joey is passionate about exploring the Bible, creating community, and enjoys slow Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee and his guitar.
